Sky Castle Mural
with Mrs. Vaage's Gr. 1A's

We loved the
illustrations from Jody Bergsma's book, Sky Castle, so much that we
wanted to create our own environment surrounded by that beautiful art. One
of our parents, Heidi Devlin, is an artist and volunteered to work with
the children to create this magnificent murals. The children used tempera
paints with glitter glue mixed in to create the magical/fantasy appearance
of shimmering beauty. Black line markers helped to highlight the features.
